John Mobbs

John has a textile background dating back to 1969 specializing in yarns & fibres,to the knitting & weaving industries, and representing furnishing fabric mills to the wholesale merchants, in the last 27 years he has been in the retail furnishing trade, furnishing thousands of homes throughout the Auckland area as well as in the last 5years the Hawkes Bay . He is well versed in commercial assignments including, schools, hospitals, apartments Sky City hotel & casino and the Heritage hotels in Auckland.
He is also well qualified in colour & Design, coming from a family of paint and wallcovering merchants and importers His earliest contacts being in unpacking , trimming , and making up orders of imported Crown,Shand,Kydd & Sanderson wallpapers in his School holidays. From instruction by his trade qualified father, and his own practical experience he has been able to pass on this knowledge years later to demonstrate "How to hang wallcoverings" in instore seminars to diy. and trade audiences. Prior to joining the textile industry he also spent time in the paint department mixing and working with colours.

Erin has a extensive background in furnishings ,having had experience in 2 high profile Auckland retail stores She is up to date with all the latest trends in design having completed a diploma in interior design and offers valuable assistance and input into any design assignment, working with the client to develop their unique style into the project, providing an out come of harmony.
