Soft flowing voiles and sheers are mostly used as  sunscreens, offering privacy and UV protection by day as well as having the duplicity of combining them on fashionable double rods with a separate coloured soft flowing block out lining behind, giving the advantage of sun filter by day and glamorous drapes by night.

There are many options on this double rod configuration, as the fabrics now available, together with lining choices make unique options easy to achieve , especially for a guest or master bedroom.

Don't make the messy mistake of choosing a different sheer for every room in the house. It is important when you select a sheer or voile to visualise how your scheme will look from the inside of the house as well as the outside, then walk from room to room and imagine what you will see.

A simple method is to keep something constant in your scheme so that your eye isn't continuously being threatened by different textures and colourways.
